Thanks for shopping at smogdog.com! These terms cover your purchase — we’ve kept them short and clear. If you have questions, just reach out.
1. Who we are
smogdog.com is operated by Hans Gerhard Meier, based in Norway. For questions about orders or payments, contact us at:

2. Ordering
When you place an order, you’ll receive a confirmation by email. This confirmation is not yet a binding acceptance — your order is confirmed once payment is processed and you receive a receipt.
3. Prices
Prices for Norwegian customers are shown in NOK and include VAT. International prices are shown in the currency presented at checkout. We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors. If a price changes between your order and processing, we’ll contact you before proceeding.
4. Payment
We offer two secure payment options:
Vipps / MobilePay (Norway & Nordics)
Norwegian and Nordic customers can pay via Vipps MobilePay. Payment is processed securely by Vipps MobilePay AS, org.nr. 918 713 678. Your payment is charged immediately at checkout. By using Vipps or MobilePay, you also accept their terms of service at vippsmobilepay.com.
Stripe (International)
International customers pay via Stripe, a leading global payment platform. Stripe accepts major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as other local payment methods. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. Your card is charged at the time of purchase.
smogdog.com does not store your card details — all payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe’s secure, PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. By paying via Stripe, you also accept Stripe’s terms of service at stripe.com/legal.
5. Delivery
Digital products are delivered immediately after payment is confirmed.
Physical goods — batch shipping: To keep shipping costs fair and sustainable, physical orders are sent out in batches. Once a minimum of 5 orders have been collected, all customers in that batch will be notified by email and their orders will be dispatched promptly. You’ll receive tracking information once your order has shipped.
If you need your order urgently or want to know the status of the current batch, just email us at shop@smogdog.com — we’re happy to give you an update.
6. Right of withdrawal (angrefrist)
As a consumer in Norway, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason (the “cooling-off period”), in accordance with the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (angrerettloven). International customers may have similar rights under their local consumer protection laws.
Please note: The right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content that has already been downloaded or accessed, if you’ve consented to this at time of purchase.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us at shop@smogdog.com before the 14-day deadline. We’ll process your refund within 14 days.
7. Refunds
Approved refunds are returned via the same payment method used at purchase. Vipps/MobilePay refunds go back to your Vipps/MobilePay account. Stripe refunds are returned to the original card or payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
8. Complaints
If something is wrong with your order, please contact us at shop@smogdog.com as soon as possible. We’ll always try to find a fair solution. Norwegian customers who feel unresolved can also contact the Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet) at forbrukertilsynet.no.
9. Privacy
We process your personal data solely to fulfil your purchase. Your information is never sold to third parties. Payment data is handled directly by Vipps MobilePay or Stripe — we never see your full card details. See our Privacy Policy at smogdog.com/privacy for full details.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes will be handled in Norwegian courts, unless consumer protection legislation in your country of residence provides stronger protections.
